Last Friday we ended what felt like a long week of testing with a visit by author, Shannon Hale. She spoke mostly about her new graphic novel, Real Friends. It was a great way to end the week. My favorite thing about Shannon's talk was her honesty with the kids about friendships and relationships, in general. She also talked about how to navigate anxiety and fear, as well as the importance of celebrating your strengths and the strengths of others. I'm so glad Mr. Bober was able to set this up.
