    Mrs. Winkler teaches gifted in the gifted classroom, which is located by Mrs. Mcgaughy’s classroom. Mrs. Winkler works with people who have a different learning need. Mrs. Winkler was five when she decided she wanted to be a teacher, she had a chalkboard and desks in her basement.

    Mrs. Winkler came to the district and liked the way they did gifted, originally wanted to to teach in the science lab, but the only open spot was at Glenridge.

    Mrs. Winkler sees her students once or twice a week, Mrs. Winkler gets to know her students over the years she works with them.”If you're in gifted it doesn’t necessarily mean your smarter, it means you have a different learning need.”- Mrs. Winkler
