Curriculum Night Was A Hit

CURRICULUM NIGHT WAS A HIT

    Almost every parent attended Curriculum Night!  With specialists  at 6:30, Dr.Martin at 7:00, classrooms at 7:30, and you go home at 8:40.  By definition, Curriculum means the subjects comprising the course of a school or college, and that is exactly what the parents learned about.  They learned about every unit that we will be learning about, and even some things about the whole school!  They even have learned some things about the school’s curriculum that we might not learn about, like what they decided not to teach, and what they switched for different grades.   For fifth grade, at the end of the year, they are writing their memoir of their time at Captain.  Also, the school system is completely phasing out fast math and replacing it with Xtramath for the entire school.  I hope the parents had fun at Curriculum Night!
