Are Class Pets Helpful

Most class pets get classes to learn to be more silent and responsible. Does that mean that the classes with class pets are more silent and responsible? Even though we go to the same school? So I observed a class that had a class pet. The class that I observed was Mrs. Hehners class. They were incredible!!! They were totally silent, looking at the person who was talking, and asking questions. I think that Chubbs (the guinea pig) and Mrs. Hehner (the teacher) made a big difference in the class. I have had many experiences with class pets and I was alot more comfortable with Chubbs there. One time after school last year I was packing my stuff and the fourth grade line left and I was more comfortable when Chubbs was there instead of me being there by myself. I think that class pets can help kids be quieter, more responsible and more comfortable.
