We had the great honor of listening to the author, Brandon Mull, last Friday.

"As an author, always believe in yourself and never give up."

"Daydream."

"It takes a long time to get a publisher."

 "You will get a lot of NOs, so don't give up."

"If you keep trying you'll get better and better."

"You should always follow your dreams."

"Use imagination and ideas (even embarrassing ones) in your story."

"Ideas don't always come to you quickly, you have to really think, and be creative."
